In the interior regions, temperatures will climb higher, reaching 41°C to 47°C. Accompanying the slight temperature drop are light to moderate winds that are expected to sweep across the region. These winds, originating from the southwest to northwest, will register speeds between 10 and 20 km/h, with potential gusts reaching up to 40 km/h. The stronger winds may stir up dust, particularly in the western parts of the country, causing reduced visibility in exposed and desert areas.
Sea Conditions: Caution Advised on Western Beaches
For those considering beach activities, the NCM has issued a warning for the Arabian Gulf, where conditions may shift from moderate to rough, especially along the western coastline near cities like Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Onshore wave heights may reach up to three feet, while offshore waves could tower up to six feet. Beachgoers are advised to avoid activities on the western beaches due to these potentially hazardous conditions.
Conversely, the eastern coast along the Sea of Oman is expected to experience calmer seas, with wave heights remaining slight, peaking at two feet onshore and three feet offshore.
