First Lieutenant Reem Al Housani, heading the Communications and Complaints Follow-up Section at Dubai Police’s Lost and Found Department, stated that many individuals were unaware they had lost their possessions until contacted by the police, making their reactions all the more rewarding.

To enhance the recovery process, Dubai Police launched a home delivery service for lost items, allowing individuals to schedule deliveries through an online portal. This initiative addresses the logistical challenges faced by individuals who have either departed Dubai or are unable to retrieve their items in person.

Since its inception in 2015, the Lost and Found Department has developed a comprehensive platform that consolidates lost items from across Dubai.
