UAE Exam Schedule for Grades 5-12

UAE Ministry of Education Announces Exam Dates for 2025-2026

The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Education has officially released the examination schedule for the end of the third semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. Students from grades five to twelve in both public and private institutions following the Ministry’s curriculum will commence their exams on June 24, wrapping up by July 3, thereby concluding the academic year.

Exam Schedule for Grades 5-11

Exams for students in grades five through eleven will kick off on June 24 with mathematics. The subsequent schedule will see the English language exam on June 25, followed by science or specialized scientific subjects on June 29. The Arabic language exam will take place on June 30, Islamic education on July 1, and social studies on July 2. For some academic tracks, the exams will conclude on July 3 with biology.

Tenth Grade Exam Details

For students in the twelfth grade, exams across the general, advanced, and elite tracks will begin on June 24 with mathematics. The English language exam is scheduled for June 25, followed by chemistry on June 26. Physics exams will be held on June 29, Arabic language on June 30, Islamic education on July 1, and social studies on July 2, with biology marking the final exam on July 3. Students enrolled in the applied track will complete their applied mathematics exams from June 24 to July 2.

Submission of Final Projects

The Ministry has designated the period from June 15 to June 19 for the submission of final tasks and projects for Group B subjects. This applies to all grades and study tracks that are part of the central exams.

Exam Guidelines and Controls

The Ministry has established specific guidelines and controls for the administration of the exams. These exams will be conducted electronically within both public and private schools that adhere to the Ministry’s curriculum. Students are required to bring their own computers on exam days. Notably, the written English language test for twelfth-grade students will be conducted electronically, aligning with this year’s evaluation procedures. Teachers are not permitted to read exam questions to students within the exam committees.

Special Arrangements for Private School Students

To ensure a standardized approach to the central tests at the national level, twelfth-grade students enrolled in private schools will undertake their exams in public schools, under the supervision and coordination of the relevant authorities.

Scheduled Exam Times

According to the Ministry’s approved timetable, students from grades five to eleven will take their exams in the morning session, starting at 9 AM and concluding by 11 AM. In contrast, twelfth-grade students will sit for most of their exams from 12 PM to 2 PM, adhering to the specific schedule designated for each academic track.
