UAE Weather Forecast Fujairah Rain Fog

Residents of the United Arab Emirates should prepare for a blend of weather conditions, as rain is anticipated in Fujairah and fog develops overnight in key urban centers, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This forecast comes from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), highlighting the diverse climatic patterns expected across the region.

Weather Overview: Rain in Eastern Regions

Those residing in the eastern and southern areas of the UAE, specifically in places like Al Ain and Fujairah, should brace for wet weather conditions. According to the NCM, the day will start off with generally fair to partly cloudy skies, but there is a significant likelihood of convective cloud formation by the afternoon. This cloud activity is expected to bring rain, particularly impacting the eastern region of Fujairah and extending southward to Al Ain.

Fog Alert: Increased Humidity in Urban Centers

Conversely, the western parts, including major cities such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah, will experience a different weather phenomenon. The NCM has forecasted that these regions will see a significant rise in humidity levels by nighttime and the following morning. Relative humidity is predicted to surge to as much as 70% to 90%, creating favorable conditions for fog or mist, especially along coastal zones.

Temperature Trends: Warm Conditions Persist

Across the emirates, temperatures are expected to remain in the high 30s Celsius. Coastal and island areas will see temperatures ranging from 36°C to 41°C. In particular, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and Umm Al Quwain are forecasted to reach highs of 38°C, while Ras Al Khaimah might peak at 39°C. Fujairah will be slightly cooler at a maximum of 36°C. Despite the rain in some areas, the overall warmth will persist across the country.

Wind and Sea Conditions: Light Breezes and Calm Waters

Wind conditions are anticipated to be light to moderate, with occasional strengthening up to 35 km/h along the coast and 40 km/h in internal regions. These winds might cause blowing dust in open areas, so residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed to avoid dust intrusion. The seas are expected to remain calm, with gentle waves reaching heights of up to two feet onshore and three feet offshore, providing a tranquil backdrop to the day’s weather.

Detailed Temperature Outlook

Today’s minimum and maximum temperatures across various Emirates are as follows:

  • Dubai: 38°C max, 29°C min
  • Abu Dhabi: 38°C max, 30°C min
  • Al Ain: 41°C max, 26°C min
  • Sharjah: 38°C max, 29°C min
  • Ajman: 38°C max, 28°C min
  • Fujairah: 36°C max, 31°C min
  • Ras Al Khaimah: 39°C max, 27°C min
  • Umm Al Quwain: 38°C max, 28°C min
  • Liwa: 43°C max, 25°C min

Safety Precautions and Recommendations

Given the variability in weather conditions, residents are advised to stay informed through local news channels and the NCM’s updates. Those in rain-prone regions should have umbrellas ready, while those in fog-affected areas should exercise caution when driving due to reduced visibility. Keeping doors and windows closed will help in minimizing dust exposure in windy areas.

This weather pattern underscores the need for preparedness as the UAE navigates these dynamic conditions, ensuring safety and comfort for all its residents.
