Dubai Media Youth Council and AGDA Conclude Innovative Program
The Dubai Media Youth Council, in partnership with the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA), has successfully wrapped up its Media and Diplomacy Capacity Building programme. This initiative was aimed at equipping young Emirati talents with the essential skills required to excel in the dynamic fields of media and diplomacy. The program focused on preparing participants to represent the UAE with poise and professional acumen on both local and international stages.

Spanning over a comprehensive 10-day period, this initiative underscores the shared dedication of both the Dubai Media Youth Council and AGDA to invest in the next generation of Emirati leaders. The focus was not only on enhancing the media sector but also on supporting the UAE’s developmental trajectory and enhancing its international stature.
At the heart of the programme was a strong emphasis on developing strategic communication skills. This was exemplified during a panel discussion entitled “Media in Times of Crisis,” which addressed the critical role of media in managing crises. The session delved into strategic communications’ significance in bolstering public trust in national institutions and outlined effective strategies for combating misinformation and rumors.

The programme brought together aspiring professionals aged 18 to 35, including university students and recent graduates, offering them an array of workshops, lectures, and hands-on training sessions led by distinguished experts in media and diplomacy.
